CVTE 2070 - Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Procedures


Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Procedures includes basic techniques for performing carotid, transcranial, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial, and other specified vascular imaging.  History taking, patient assessment, exam performance, documentation, and preliminary report generation will be included.  Laboratory exercises provide hands-on experience in performing noninvasive vascular procedures with emphasis placed on instrumentation and development of clinical technique.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite:  Acceptance into the Cardiovascular Technology program.
3 Credit Hours - 4 Lecture Hours, 10 Lab Hours
