NURS 1000 - Introduction to Pharmacology


Introduction to Pharmacology is designed to provide an introduction to pharmacology with emphasis on pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Pharmacology terms, specific drug classifications, mechanisms of action, uses, side effects, interactions, adverse effects, implications, and client education will be incorporated. Care provider considerations, including skills, roles, and responsibilities relating to drug therapy will be discussed.
