ART 1030 - Introduction to Art


Introduction to Art is a survey of art and artists in western culture from antiquity to the present. Course coverage includes the major artists’ use of line, space, mass and volume; perspective; proportion; color and a variety of media in their disciplines.

Prerequisites & Notes
This course was formerly ARTS 1040. Note: This course may be used to meet the admissions requirement for visual/performing arts. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (F, S)
