*CRMJ 1020 - Introduction to the Legal Process


Introduction to the Legal Process examines the concepts and procedures of the American law enforcement process to include such procedures as arrest, search and seizure, investigative detentions, motor vehicle stops, Miranda warnings, identification procedures, and law enforcement liability.

Prerequisites: READ 0870, ENGL 0800/0870, or appropriate entrance scores.
