SURG 2010 - Surgical Microbiology and Asepsis


Surgical Microbiology and Asepsis trains students in techniques for keeping the surgical environment free from disease-producing micro-organisms. Asepsis principles, surgical conscience, sanitation/disinfection/sterilization and monitoring techniques are explored.

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Surgical Technology program.
