AERO 1020 - Theory of Flight


Theory of Flight focuses on aerodynamics. The course covers topics such as lift, weight, thrust and drag forces acting upon an airplane in flight. This course is also an introduction to the vocabulary of aviation and to the operational environment of airplanes.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: DSPR 0800, DSPW 0800 or appropriate entrance scores. Note: A five-hour flight demonstration is required at student expense. Fee is required. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (Variable)
