HORT 1310 - ♦Horticultural Pesticides


Horticultural Pesticides is a study of the identification and control of plant pests including insects, diseases and weeds. Topics include pest identification and chemical regulation, pesticide application, and safety.  Course work will satisfy re-certification point requirements and prepare students to take the Tennessee Commercial Pesticide Applications License test and the test for certification in Ornamental and Turf (C03).

Prerequisites: All required math learning support courses, ENGL 0870, READ 0870,  or appropriate entrance scores.
