CITC 1317 - Introduction to Scripting Languages


Introduction to Scripting Languages is an introduction to script programming as a tool for system administration, automation, and customization and as a platform for Web-based applications. Compares shell command languages and scripting languages used on UNIX and Linux systems. Server side programming using PHP will be emphasized.

Prerequisites: CITC 1300  or departmental approval and CITC 1303  and either CITC 1301  or CISP 1010 .
