AVIT 2520 - Power Plant Fundamentals VI

Power Plant Fundamentals VI will cover engine lubrication systems and reciprocation engine induction and cooling systems. Types, grades, and uses of engine oil,wet-sump system, chip detectors, and excessive aircraft engine oil consumption. Reciprocating engine induction and cooling system theory, components, and operation. Superchargers and controls, augmenter cooling system, carburetor heaters, reciprocating engine baffle and seal installation.
