AVIT 1320 - Aircraft Drawings, Electricity, and Electronics Aircraft Drawings, Electricity, and Electronics will teach students how to read aircraft drawings, sketch, and interpret the meaning of lines on a drawing as well as the effects weight and balance has on aerodynamics, and how to calculate the weight and balance of an aircraft. Students will also learn Aircraft Electricity and Electronics including the study of basic electricity, relationship between voltage, current, resistance, power, capacitance, and inductance in an electrical circuit; be able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, and understand the chemistry of both lead-acid and nickel-cadmium aircraft batteries. The students will learn to recognize various electronic components, understand and troubleshoot logic gates.
