SOWK 1030 - Cultural Diversity Cultural Diversity introduces students to patterns, dynamics and historical perspectives of cultural diversity and examines social justice issues and consequences of oppression, economic deprivation and discrimination. The course also explores the concept of embracing diversity relative to race, ethnicity, cultural, class, gender, affectional orientation, religion and age. Students have opportunities to study the similarities and differences between people’s experiences, needs and beliefs.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: DSPR 0800/0870, DSPW 0800 or appropriate entrance scores. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (Variable)
