EMTP 2110 - Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS)


BTLS is designed to help the student assess and treat a patient suffering traumatic injuries. The major focus of the course is for the student to be able to identify conditions in a trauma patient that are life-threatening or may become so. Emphasis is placed on identifying and correcting life threatening injuries that require immediate transport. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive certification by the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, BTLS.
