CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I


General Chemistry I is an introduction to the study of chemistry. Course topics include: chemical measurements and SI units; an introduction to elements; mixtures and compounds; stoichiometric calculations; atomic theory and the periodic table; valance bonds and molecular orbital theory; and the properties of liquids, solids and gases.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: DSPM 0850 or appropriate entrance scores. 4 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours, 3 Lab Hours (F,S,U)
