Welding - Concentration: Combination Welder

The Combination Welder technical certificate program is designed to prepare individuals for employment as welders in an industrial setting. Instruction is provided in blueprint reading, oxy-fuel, stick-arc, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG). Appropriate credit for successful completion of courses in this certificate program may be applied to the associate of applied science degree program, Welding/Metal Fabrication Technology.

Requirements


Students must complete all remedial and developmental deficiencies or have appropriate entrance scores.
