TN eCampus - Early Childhood Education (A.A.S.)


The Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education program provides a course of study that prepares students for career opportunities in early childhood education and specifically addresses the needs of assistant teachers in Tennessee’s Head Start programs by meeting the educational requirement stipulated in Federal Law. The program offers sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical experience that enable graduates to function in a variety of early childhood settings.

Early Childhood Concentration (32 hours - all courses required)


Note: ** Delivered at Home College. Must be completed within the first 12 hours of the program.
Note: *** Delivered at Home College. A supervised experience in both instruction and at a clinical site.

Early Childhood Electives (3 hours - choose one)


Note: * Course containing at least one component of international content.

General Electives (3 hours)
