Computer Information Technology - Concentration: Mobile Technologies

The Mobile Technologies Concentration focuses on programming languages required to create applications for Android, Apple, and Windows devices. Emphasis is also given to wireless networks and communications and to mobile security. These courses will prepare students to design and implement apps and to maintain and update wireless systems as components of larger networks. The concentration includes coursework focused on further programming or networking components through consultation with an advisor. Required courses are Windows Mobile App Development, Android App Development, iOS App Development, Mobile Networks and Mobile Security.

General Education Requirements


Note: All courses must be from the Approved Courses for General Education  courses for each category listed in the General Education section of this catalog.

Learning Support


Additional courses may be required to overcome deficiencies in English, mathematics, and reading.
