Office Technology Certificate


The Office Technology certificate program prepares individuals for entry-level duties in technology-intensive office environments. Emphasis is placed on developing skills such as receiving visitors, answering the phone, filing, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and working with others as a member of the office team.

After completing program requirements, students should be academically prepared to take the following:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certificate exams: Word Associate and Excel Associate

All courses in the Office Technology certificate program will transfer into the Associate of Applied Science degree in Administrative Professional Technology - Concentration: Business Office and Concentration: Legal Office. Some courses will transfer into the Administrative Professional Technology - Concentration: Medical Office degree.

Requirements


Students must complete all learning support deficiencies in English, mathematics, and reading or have appropriate entrance scores.

Total Credit Hours: 30
