Chemical Laboratory Technology (A.S. Degree)

The Chemical Laboratory Technology program prepares students with the mathematical and chemical courses needed to enter the workforce where advanced chemistry is required. The program focuses on the analytical skills and instrumentation commonly found in the chemical industry. Graduates should qualify as entry-level chemical laboratory technicians and have the foundational courses to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Note: All courses must be from the Approved Courses for General Education  courses for each category listed in the General Education section of this catalog.

Additional Information


*Students who are not prepared for CHEM 1110 will need some or all of the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100  and/or MATH 1710 or CHEM 1000 . Students who are not prepared for MATH 1710 will need the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100.

Transfer Requirements
