WMST 2010 - Introduction to Women’s Studies


Introduction to Women’s Studies is an introduction to the interdisciplinary academic fields which has the triple focus of integrating information about women’s contributions to culture and history to the curriculum; uncovering and understanding the structures of oppression (gender, race, class); and exploring possibilities for change. Topics for reading and discussion will be drawn from materials on social structures, law, language, literature, history, religion and the healing professions.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: DSPR 0800, DSPW 0800 or appropriate entrance scores. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (F, S)
