ASTR 1010 - ♦Astronomy I


Astronomy I is an introduction to the history and concepts of modern astronomy. The course covers historical backgrounds, celestial motions, properties and observations of light, and physical characteristics of the solar system.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: All required math learning support courses and READ 0870 or appropriate entrance scores.

4 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours - 2 Lab Hours (F, S, U)
