BSMG 2420 - Taxes and Licensing for Small Business Taxes and Licensing for Small Business is a study of the use of Tennessee and IRS forms and guidelines. Upon successful completion of the course, students should possess a working knowledge of tax regulations and responsibilities with regard to reporting and filing a variety of state and federal tax forms. Topics also include: an overview of the types of business organizations, basic record keeping, preparation of financial statements, retirement plans for the self-employed and business use of the home.
