NURS 1200 - Pharmacology Pharmacology introduces students to the classifications of pharmaceuticals, how the body is affected, and nursing responsibilities associated with the safe administration and management of pharmaceuticals, emphasizing the central competencies of professional behaviors, communication, assessment, clinical decision making, caring interventions, teaching/learning, collaboration, and managing care.
Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: BIOL 2010, BIOL 2020, ENGL 1010, MATH 1530, and computer proficiency.
Corequisite: NURS 1100, BIOL 1230.
