WELD 2220 - Pipe Welding II Pipe Welding II prepares the student for pipe fitting, pipe welding, and tube welding within ASME, API, and AWS specifications. Students are expected to pass both visual and guided bend tests in the 5G, 6G, and 6GR positions. Students will demonstrate advanced pipe and tube welding techniques using SMAW and GTAW on carbon steels as well as GTAW and inert gas purging on stainless steels.
