SOCI 1020 - General Sociology


General Sociology is an introduction to the study of society. Basic sociological concepts and theories, culture, socialization, social institutions and processes of social change are discussed. Applications of sociological theories to everyday life are emphasized.

Prerequisites: DSPR 0800/0870, DSPW 0800 or appropriate entrance scores. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (F, S, U)
