CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I


General Chemistry I is an introduction to the study of chemistry. Course topics include chemical measurements and SI units; an introduction to elements; mixtures and compounds; stoichiometric calculations; atomic theory and the periodic table; valence bond and molecular orbital theory; and the properties of solids, liquids, gases, and solutions.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: DSPM 0850 or appropriate entrance scores.
