CJCR 2440 - Corrections in America Corrections in America focuses on the historical and philosophical evolution of the punishment system in the United States. Topics include: prison, jail and community-based corrections and analyzes the efficiency of social control policies such as “boot camp” prisons, rehabilitation, juvenile detention and capital punishment.
