CSCI 2010 - Introduction to GIS Technology Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a study of the basics of using computerized map information in science, education, social science, and business applications. Students will learn to organize their own projects using mapping software, spatial data, GPS technology, and other emerging technologies. (Because of the technical nature of this course, students must demonstrate adequate computer skills before enrolling. Equivalent to GEOG 2010 and CJCR 2010.)
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: DSPR 0800 or 0870, DSPW 0800, and DSPM 0700, or appropriate entrance scores.
