ECED 2060 - Development of Exceptional Children


Development of Exceptional Children explores practices that early childhood professionals can apply to develop a more inclusive and accessible environment for all young children ages birth through eight. It provides students with skills to include children of all abilities through appropriate arrangement of the environment. The course also includes strategies for developing strong relationships with families and with other community agencies. Field experience is required.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: DSPR 0800/0870 and DSPW 0800 or appropriate entrance scores. 3 Credit Hours - 3 Lecture Hours (Variable)
