ENGL 2080 - Fantasy Literature A study of fantasy literature from its origins in mythology, folk tales, and fairy tales to modern short story, film, and novel treatments. As a result of this course, students will be able to distinguish the unique traits of the fantasy genre, subgenres, historical context, and modern expression and demonstrate knowledge of fantasy through literary analysis and creative writing.
