* Students who are not prepared for CHEM 1110 will need some or all of the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100 and/or MATH 1710 or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1000 . ** Students who select the Biology TTP with the intention to concentrate in pre-med or other pre-health related fields at the university are strongly recommended to take Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to Sociology. *** At UT Knoxville, this sequence must be Organic Chemistry I and either a course in cell biology with laboratory or genetics with laboratory. **** Students who are not prepared for Calculus I should take MATH 1710 - Pre-Calculus Algebra and/or MATH 1720 - Pre-Calculus Trigonometry. ***** At UT Knoxville, the math course must be Calculus II.
