Business - Concentration: Accounting

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

The Accounting concentration prepares individuals for employment in corporate accounting positions and in firms which provide accounting services and enhances the skills and abilities of persons currently employed in this career field. Students study introductory and advanced accounting practice and theory in courses such as intermediate accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, payroll accounting, accounting systems applications, and accounting capstone. Computer skills are developed utilizing electronic spreadsheets and computerized general ledger programs.
