Office Administration Technology - Concentration: Medical Office

The Medical Office program prepares individuals for employment as insurance clerks, patient account representatives, medical transcriptionists, medical secretaries, or medical office assistants. The program provides the opportunity for skill development in the areas of software applications, office procedures, insurance claims and patient billing, records management, communications, and transcription.

After completing program requirements, students should be academically prepared to take the following:

  • Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) core and expert-level Word certification exams
