Combination Welding

The Combination Welding technical certificate program is designed to prepare individuals for employment as welders in an industrial setting. Instruction is provided in blueprint reading, Oxy-fuel, stick-arc Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), and Plasma arc cutting. Appropriate credit for successful completion of courses in this certificate program may be applied to the Associate of Applied Science degree program, Industrial Technology - Concentration: Welding/Metal Fabrication.

Requirements


Students must complete all remedial deficiencies or have appropriate entrance scores.
