Pre-Pharmacy: Transfer to ETSU

The university parallel program in Pre-Pharmacy is designed for individuals who intend to complete the first two years of a degree program at Northeast State and then begin the professional pharmacy program in pursuit of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree or transfer to a four-year college or university to complete additional coursework prior to applying to Pharmacy school. The curriculum includes general education and other selected courses typically required as prerequisites in a doctor of pharmacy degree program.

General Education Courses
- Literature - Select one course Credits: 3
- Humanities/Fine Arts - Select two courses Credits: 6
- Social/Behavioral Sciences - Select ECON 2210 and one other course Credits: 6
Science credit earned that is over 10 years old will not be accepted as meeting program requirements. Any exceptions to this requirement, must be approved by the dean of the Science Division. Transfer Requirements
These A.A. and A.S. guides are designed to facilitate transfer to ETSU unless otherwise noted. Students who intend to transfer to a different institution should consult their advisor and the receiving institution for specific course selections. |
