CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I General Chemistry I is an introduction to the study of chemistry. Course topics include: chemical measurements and SI units; an introduction to elements; mixtures and compounds; stoichiometric calculations; atomic theory and the periodic table; valance bonds and molecular orbital theory; and the properties of liquids, solids and gases.
