AHSC 2420 - Principles of Nutrition Principles of Nutrition is an introduction to scientific nutrition principles with an emphasis on nutritional requirements, dietary sources of nutrients and nutrient utilization. Topics covered also include: the impact of nutrition on energy; intake and weight control; fitness; disease prevention; the life cycle; food technology; food safety; and the environment.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisites: DSPS 0800 or appropriate entrance scores.
