The Drafting Design program prepares individuals for employment as design drafters. The curriculum incorporates guidelines developed by the American National Standards Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Students may specialize in architectural, piping, structural, and/or machine tool design. The curriculum is certified by the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA). The Drafting Design program articulates with the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program at East Tennessee State University and other selected colleges and universities.
