MATH 0890 - Basic Number Sense and Operations

Basic Number Sense and Operations includes operations with whole number and decimals, ordering of numbers, rules of order, and real world applications. This course is non-credit bearing for students whose placement scores indicate a need for preparation prior to enrolling for the credit-bearing work in Math Learning Support.  

Prerequisites & Notes
Note: This course was formerly DSPM.

Prerequisites: Placement is indicated by scoring below the level of competent for Placement Test 1, MATH 0890.

Note: Course does not satisfy TBR/Northeast State’s General Education Core.
