EMSP 1801 - Fundamentals of Paramedic I Fundamentals of Paramedic I is the first of two lecture courses to include the following topics: paramedic roles, responsibilities, workforce safety, wellness, public health, communications, and documentation. EMS operations, medical/legal considerations, anatomy and physiology, life span development, general pathophysiology, general pharmacology, patient assessment, critical thinking, airway management, respiratory emergencies and introduction to cardiology.
