AVIT 1530 - Power Plant Fundamentals I

Power Plant Fundamentals I will cover types of reciprocating engines. Internal combustion engine operating principles/theory of operation. Radial engine construction and internal components. Reciprocating engine performance (e.g., PLANK, SFC), and reciprocating engine ground operations. Diesel engine operating principles/theory of operation.
