The Office Technology technical certificate program prepares individuals for entry-level duties in technology-intensive office environments. Emphasis is placed on developing skills such as receiving visitors, filing, telephoning, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and working with others as a member of the office team.
After completing program requirements, students should be academically prepared to take the following:
- Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) core level Word Certification
All courses in the Office Technology certificate program will articulate into the Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Office Administration Technology - Concentration: General Office. Some courses will articulate into the Office Administration Technology - Concentrations: Legal Office and/or Medical Office degree program.
