Combination Welding


The Combination Welding technical certificate program is designed to prepare individuals for employment as welders in an industrial setting. Instruction is provided in blueprint reading, Oxy-fuel cutting, brazing and welding, stick-arc Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), plasma arc cutting, and carbon arc cutting.

All courses in the Combination Welding certificate program will articulate into the Associate of Applied Science degree program in Industrial Technology - Concentration: Welding/Metal Fabrication .

Learning Support


Students must complete learning support deficiencies in English and MATH 0801, or have appropriate entrance scores.

Total Credit Hours: 26
