Pre-Pharmacy: Transfer to ETSU (A.S. Degree)

The university parallel program in Pre-Pharmacy is designed for individuals who intend to complete the first two years of a degree program at Northeast State and then begin the professional pharmacy program in pursuit of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree or transfer to a four-year college or university to complete additional coursework prior to applying to Pharmacy school. The curriculum includes general education and other selected courses typically required as prerequisites in a doctor of pharmacy degree program.

Additional courses may be required to overcome deficiencies in English, mathematics, and reading. Additional Information
* Students who are not prepared for CHEM 1110 will need some or all of the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100 and/or MATH 1710 or CHEM 1000 . ** Students who are not prepared for MATH 1910 will need some or all of the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100, MATH 1710, and/or MATH 1720 . *** Students who are not prepared for PHYS 2010 will also need one of the following based on placement test scores: MATH 1100, MATH 1710, or CHEM 1000.
