Transfer Requirements

^* Students who intend to transfer to Christian Brothers University are encouraged to complete POLS 1030 . Students who intend to transfer to UTK are encouraged to complete ECON 2100 .

^** UTK recommends that students complete ASTR 1010  or ASTR 1020  for the non-Biology natural science.

^*** Students who plan to transfer to UTK are encouraged to complete one U.S. History course as part of this requirement. Students who plan to transfer to MTSU are encouraged to complete a World History course. APSU requires students to complete one World History course. Students who plan to transfer to U of M must complete a sequence (either HIST 2010 /2020  or HIST 2310 /2320 .

^**** Students who plan to transfer to UTC are required to take a Physical Science course.

This A.S.T. guide is designed to facilitate transfer to ETSU and other TBR institutions unless otherwise noted.  Students who intend to transfer to a different institution should consult their advisor and the receiving institution for specific course selections.

Additional Degree Requirements:

1.  Attainment of 2.75 cumulative grade point average
2.  Successful completion of Praxis Core or ACT composite score of 22 (or SAT score of 1080) or better
3.  Satisfactory rating on an index of suitability for the teaching profession
