Transfer Requirements


Tennessee Transfer Path to UT/TBR four year universities in compliance with Complete College Tennessee Act of 2010.

* Students who plan to transfer to the University of Memphis should take at least one fine arts under the Humanities & Fine Arts general education requirement. Students who plan to transfer to ETSU should take PHIL 2640 .

** Students transferring to Tennessee Technological University (TTU) should take SOCI 1010 

*** Students who intend to transfer to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK) should take HIST 2310  and HIST 2320 . The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga requires one History course to be a U.S. History. 

**** Students who plan to transfer to ETSU should take COMM 2055 .

Complete information regarding foreign language requirements at each university may be found on the transfer and articulation websites of the Tennessee Board of Regents and the University of Tennessee System. Community college students are encouraged to be familiar with foreign language requirements at the universities and, if applicable, complete the requirements before transferring.
