Additional Information


*Students who intend to transfer to University of Tennessee at Knoxville should take three (3) credit hours of a non-U.S. History course. Students who intend to transfer to Austin Peay State University, Tennessee Technological University, and Tennessee State University should take American History. University of Tennessee at Martin does not accept TN History. Students who have taken US History in high school are recommended to take World History or Western Civilization.

**PHIL 2430 can be taken as a TN eCampus course.

***Students who intend to transfer to ETSU should take COMM 2055  and PHIL 2640 .

Additional Information Regarding Foreign Language


At some universities, foreign language may be required in certain programs that lead to the Bachelor of Science Degree. Complete information regarding foreign language requirements at each university may be found in the transfer and articulation websites of the Tennessee Board of Regents and the University of Tennessee System. Community college students are encouraged to be familiar with foreign language requirements at the universities and, if applicable, complete the requirements before transferring.
