*Students who plan to transfer to UT Knoxville must complete MATH 2050 .

**Recommended PHIL 1040  

***Students transferring to ETSU, MTSU, TSU or UT Knoxville should take MATH 1630 . Students transferring to TTU, UofM, UT Chattanooga or UT Martin should take MATH 1710 .

****Students who intend to transfer to UT Knoxville should take three (3) credit hours of a non-U.S. History course. Students who intend to transfer to APSU, TTU, and TSU should take American History. UT Martin does not accept TN History. Recommend HIST 2020 or HIST 2320, students who have taken US History in high school are recommended to take World History or Western Civilization.

*****MATH 1830  or equivalent calculus course is required at UT Knoxville, UofM, UT Chattanooga, and TSU. MATH 1830 or equivalent is NOT required at UT Martin, TTU, ETSU, or MTSU.

Additional Information Regarding Foreign Language


At some universities, foreign language may be required in certain programs that lead to the Bachelor of Science Degree. Complete information regarding foreign language requirements at each university may be found in the transfer and articulation websites of the Tennessee Board of Regents and the University of Tennessee System. Community college students are encouraged to be familiar with foreign language requirements at the universities and, if applicable, complete the requirements before transferring.
